The prince of Tyre and the king of Tyre (Satan) have certain similarities. Verses 11-18 give a description of Satan–who is referred to as the king of Tyre–explaining how he was created a perfect anointed cherub, but sinned. Verses 1-10 give a description of the prince of Tyre, a man. Satan was originally created perfect in all his ways. Before delving into the question of Satan’s fate it is instructive to review his history, his power, and his influence on the nations. ![]()
